About

City+ is a research network on interdisciplinary urban studies. Its core members come from some world or Asia-leading universities such as University of Cambridge, Chengchi University, University College London, Delft University of Technology, University of Hong Kong, Polytechnic University of Milan, Tongji University, University of Oxford, and Zhejiang University. We have successfully organised seven annual international conferences in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Australia, and Japan, covering the themes of urban planning and design, smart cities and geographic artificial intelligence, urban development and governance, and future environmental city. As of February 2025, our conferences have already attracted more than eight hundred delegates from many leading universities and institutes across countries from all continents. It has demonstrated its potential to be a good platform for sharing research experiences and thinking, developing cooperation opportunities, and addressing urban concerns from an interdisciplinary perspective.

We are also organising City+Talk online events, inviting scholars and PhD students to share their professional experiences and research on a weekly basis. However, the events are currently mainly given in Chinese and are thus only open to Chinese scholars and students working/studying globally or those who can understand Chinese. If working well, City+Talk will be upgraded to an international/English version in ~2027.
